Conveniently located on the east-end of Sanibel Island, The Colony Resort, aka Colonnades, is in an area designated by Sanibel’s Land Development Code as “a resort-housing district”. Unit #47 on the 2nd floor in the building closest to the beach boardwalk on East Gulf Drive, has the added benefit of being tucked in the corner where the building juts out giving its screened balcony extra privacy. It has a well-equipped updated white kitchen, a full bath, a large bedroom with 2 full-sized beds (which helps with the rentals), and a combo dining/living room with sliders to the screened balcony which overlooks palms and tropical greenery. On a breezy day, you can hear the gulf!

The daily rental rates for double occupancy range from $125/nite in the off-season to $195/nite in high season. The best income year in this condo was 2005 when it grossed $16,746. Own a piece of Sanibel with renters helping to pay the way!
